How do you feel about your current job? Chances are part of the reason you opened this email is because of its title and the promise of a solution.
In a recent interview with author Elizabeth Lotardo, we spoke about some solutions for some of the key issues in your job.
Here are some:
- Dealing with change: Be better or be bitter. If change is inevitable, be strategic about your job and find a positive spin.
- Getting bad performance reviews: Establish regular communication with management to define metrics of success and know the constraints or areas you can expand to.
- Micromanagers: It's not you, it's them. Recognize most micromanagers may just think this is the way work occurs, so try to be proactive in your communications about your work.
